This Oregon version of the classic creamy Havarti is an excellent place to start and it’s the mainstay of the Willamette Valley Cheese Company’s farmstead cheese line. Perfectly ages and deliciously mild, our award-winning Havarti is very, very creamy. It’s works equally well as a table cheese and a dessert cheese; try serving it with fruit or wine. Our Havarti has enough complexity to pair with bold red wines such as Bordeaux and Rioja.

Willamette Valley Cheese Company’s seasoned Havartis win high marks as stand-alone appetizers, with crackers and fresh baguettes. They’re also great as an accompaniment to lighter wines and healthy entrees. From garlic-pepper, herb, jalapeno and dill to horseradish, caraway, cumin and peppercorn, our seasoned Havartis are all mild but flavorful. They exhibit some zip, but never stray into spicy territory.
